In seeking sustainable and safe organic agricultural solutions, farming households in Quang Yen, Quang Ninh, have pioneered a partnership model using vermicompost in rice fields. This is cooperation between the Organic Agriculture Cooperative Ha Long Xanh and local agricultural cooperatives, with active participation by farming households across the province.

Over the 2 days of 6/8/2024 and 7/8/2024, the model was implemented in the fields of two representative households: Ms. Vũ Thị Dương in Hamlet 13, Hiep Hoa, and Ms. Vũ Thị Nga in Area 2, Yen Hai. Vermicompost use not only helps rice grow better but also improves grain quality, providing clean, organic and safe products for consumers.
, known for its excellent soil-improving ability, not only provides natural nutrients for rice but also improves soil structure, increases fertility and retains moisture better. This will be verified through trial seasons in Ms. Dương's and Ms. Nga's fields, as rice grows vigorously, with fewer pests and diseases and superior grain quality.

This partnership model not only delivers high economic efficiency but also protects the environment, minimizing negative impacts from chemical fertilizers. Rice from these fields will certainly be valued for food safety, meet organic standards and command high market value.

In the future, this vermicompost partnership model will be expanded to other Quang Ninh areas, opening new prospects for clean, sustainable agriculture. Its success also demonstrates the appropriateness of modern, environmentally friendly cultivation methods that meet growing market demand for safe agricultural products.
